Nearly $27,000 raised for cancer research!

We are pleased to announce that the 5th Annual Date for the Cure bachelor and bachelorette auction raised nearly $27,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society!  Held on March 6, 2010, the event was a tremendous success!  We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to our…

• Bachelors and bachelorettes, who put their egos on the line and donated time before, during and after the event,
• Donors and sponsors, who contributed over $4,000 in date packages, door prizes, alcohol, promotions and services,
• Volunteers, who helped us run an amazingly smooth “uneventful” event from start to finish, and
• Guests, some of whom bid as much as $900 for a bachelor or bachelorette!

A huge thank you to Beecher’s Handmade Cheese for their incredibly generous donation – be a “Cheesemaker for a Day.” In the heart of Seattle’s historic Pike Place Market, people press their noses against the windows at Beecher’s Handmade Cheese to witness a vat of creamy white milk transformed by the expert hands of the cheesemaker. Cheesy?
